Biography
Lucia has achieved her presence in the international art scene through her diverse exhibitions across several continents. Her artworks have been showcased in prestigious venues such as art fairs, museums, and galleries across the United States, Canada, South and Central America, and Europe.
In the United States, she has been featured at notable events like the Palm Beach Art Fair, Boca Raton Art Fair, and Continuum Art Fair, as well as at cultural institutions including The Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, The Monmouth Museum in New Jersey, and The Coral Springs Museum of Art in Florida. Her work has also been displayed at universities such as F.A.U. in Boca Raton and galleries like Galatea Fine Art in Boston.
In Canada, Lucia's art has been exhibited at the McMaster Museum of Art in Toronto and the Art Gallery of Hamilton in Ontario. Her presence extends to Europe, where she has shown her work at the Lessedra Art Gallery in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Concertina Gallery in London, UK.
In Colombia Lucia has made contributions to the art scene, showcasing her paintings at cultural venues such as Cámara de Comercio in Bogotá the Arte Loft Gallery in Medellín, the Santillana Foundation for Ibero-America in Bogotá, and the Enrique Grau Museum and the Comfamiliar Museum in Barranquilla.
Lucia's artistic journey began in Colombia, where she studied under the guidance of her father, the Colombian Master Ricardo Gómez Campuzano, and furthered her education at the Sienna Art School in Madrid. She continued her training in Colombia with accomplished artists such as Freda Sargent and Nelly Rojas, and engaged in extensive workshops at the Atena Art Studio under Master Hernando Gonzáles in Bogotá.
Currently, Lucia divides her time between Colombia and the USA, where she creates abstract art that reflects her artistic vision. Her preferred mediums include oil and mixed media, through which she explores and expresses her creativity following her own artistic path.
